Modules such as Cultural Tourism, Festivals and Events and International Hospitality Management give this course a global edge, meaning you’ll be ready to take on a role in events management anywhere in the world when you graduate.
The course is well balanced, combining theoretical knowledge such as event management theory, strategy and marketing, and practical experiences such as field trips to a range of national and international class events such as the Olympic games and high-profile concerts such as Take That.

EMPLOYMENT AND CAREERS
Many of the graduates go on to work in managerial roles within the tourism and hospitality industry. Job titles of the graduates include Hotel Manager, Tourism Development Officer and Resort Office Manager. Employers include hotels, airlines, travel agencies, events organisers, heritage attractions, Local Authorities and other public sector bodies.
When you graduate you will have a broad set of transferable skills that will equip you for a much wider range of graduate-level employment. This course could also be a stepping stone to further study and research.
